At Shark Guard AI, we believe every creature has the right to exist in harmony with us. Our Artificial Intelligence Shark Detection model easily identifies sharks close to swimmers on our beaches, and this offers protection to swimmers, but also allows the sharks to exist in their environment.
Our Story
Shark Guard AI was founded by former members of the Australian Defence Force.
The Special Forces spends countless hours in the ocean on training and operations, and are exposed to all marine life. Most are harmless, but sharks are always a concern. We believed there had to be a better way to detect the presence of sharks. Just six months later, we developed an Artificial Intelligence Shark Detection Model that delivers outstanding results.
AI Shark Detection
The Artificial Intelligence Shark Detection Model analyzes footage from drones to accurately identify sharks by species, size, and direction of travel. The model can detect Bull, White, and Tiger Sharks, as well as various other marine life, and seamlessly integrates with your existing software.
Extensive testing was conducted at Cape Cod, USA, where Great White shark sightings are virtually guaranteed. As with all machine learning systems, we continuously refine the model to enhance its accuracy and expand its capabilities.
